Czech junior group participated European championship at 1985 for first time and Jihlava caster was in that group already.
Since that time at least one Jihlava girl or boy participated some junior European or world championship in each decade.
Based on count of casters the year 1995 was the best year for Jihlava, it had 4 casters in Czech junior group.
The last caster from Jihlava named Jitka Pausarová, participated junior world championship at 2021 for her last time.
Best Jihlava boy caster was Martin Musil (17 individual medals from junior European and world championship).
Best Jihlava girl caster was Jitka Pausarová (16 individual medals from junior world championship).
80s years - Martin Musil
Martin Musil was the first and the most significant caster of Jihlava. At 16 years he was able to cast 300 at target events of one competition. There is a only few boys of 16 years that can cast targets with 0 target loss. Thanks to his quality Martin participated world championship of juniors hosted by Hungarian Tamási. There he was at group Boys I. together with Patrik Lexa, caster of Prague. The biggest rival wat Rosen Nedkov of Bulgaria that time. Martin was great, as the only caster was able to gain medal in each event, got 4 bronzes and he won fly combination. At pentathlon we was second 2 points below Nedkov.
One year later he participated another junior championship at Boys II. category. Hosted by Czechoslovakian Nymburk. Again he was perfectly prepared. Won fly combination for second time, added another gold at spinning distance. The only event he did not gain medal was arenberg. 6 casters got into final with 98, Martin had "only" 96. At pentathlon he was second again, 2 point below winner again. That time, below Lubomír Raab from south Bohemia.
One year later and for last time Martin went to Swedish Bosön. Won fly combination again, he was unbeaten at this event. Gained another gold at spinning distance. For second time he had medal from each event and finally we became European champion at pentathlon. 28 points above Nedkov.
So Martin Musil participated 3 championships of youth.
He gained 17 individual medals of 18 available. Became champion for 6 times.
Based on amount of medals he his third best caster having the same amount of medals like the boy on second place, having only smaller amount of gold medals.
Based on average medal acquisition per one championship Martin is on second place.
Counting only casters participating at least two championships Martin would be the best Czech caster of youth category.

90s years - Pavel Vaněk
No youth championship for next 3 years. At last, in 1990 there was next European championship of youth, in Germany that time. Czechoslovakia group of 9 casters participated. One of them was Pavel Vaněk from Jihlava.
Pavel was well prepared but he needed a little bit more luck. At fly skish he hit all target as one of three Czech juniors. For getting medal at fly combination he needed 0.38 point more. 2 more points he needed for getting to final round at arenberg, one hit more at skish. In spinning distance he missed medal again, needed only 0.78 meter more. For all the bad, he was fourth at pentathlon, only 0.23 point below bronze position.
One year later Pavel participated European championship hosted by Czechoslovakia. He moved to small village Vystrkov close to Orlík dam. Two another Jihlava casters Michal Přibyl and Lenka Příhodová went there with him.
Pavel had full points fly skish again but 5th place at final. But at fly combination he gained silver medal, missing only 0.8 points to beat winning Robert Meszáros of Slovakian Nové Zámky.
At arenberg we got to final, fought for bronze medal and placed 7th position. At spinning skish he fought for bronze again and with slower time he was 4th.
But at spinning distance Pavel became the champion having cast 1.5 meter longer that other casters. Thanks to that event he was silver at pentathlon, missing only 0.54 points to beat winner.
So Pavel Vaněk participated 2 championships of youth. He gained 1 gold and 2 silver medals overall.

90s years - Michal Přibyl
Michal Přibyl was perfect target caster, for example - at his 17 years he did not have full points of fly skish for only one time of whole season (13 competitons). Unfortunately he was not as good as others in distance events. That is why he not participated European championship in 1990.
But in 1991 he got into czechoslovakian team and showed his target abilities. He got full points and fly skish, as the only caster he got full points at arenberg and became European champion at arenberg. Only one missed target at spinning skish and 5th position at final. Unfortunately very bad spinning distance, settling him down to 20th position.
So Michal Přibyl participated only one European championship of youth. As for Pavel Vaněk, the year 1991 was his last junior year, since 1992 he was at adult category.
He gained one gold medal. That championship we was best Czech caster and second best European caster in target loss ranking.

90s years - Lenka Příhodová
Also Lenka was participated the only one European championship, hosted by Czechoslovakia close the Orlík dam. She was there with other great Czech girls Jarmila Nytrová and Hana Hrouzová.
For the beginning Lenka was the only Czech girl having 100 points at fly skish, also in final. Unfortunately 23 seconds slower, so she got silver.
3 times more she was second, always below Hana Hrouzová, greatly prepared for this championship. Spinning shish and also spinning distance were in order 1st Hana, 2nd Lenka, 4th Jarmila.
Jarmila thanks to her fly combination got over Katrin Werner in pentathlon so all three places of pentathlon did belong to Czech girls.
So Lenka participated only one European championship of youth and gained 4 silver medals.

90s years - Karolína Kotrbová
No championship in 1994. Slovenian Bled hosted championship in 1995. Biggest Jihlava participation having 4 casters in national team. Never had more caster in team before or after.
Karolína had great results in 1995. She won national championship, she won Grand slam of Germany. There was a big change for having same result at European championship.
That time with no final round for first 6 girls Karolína had second best result of fly skish so she gained silver behind another Jihlava caster, Klára Musilová. She gained another silver medal in fly combination, being only 0.14 points behind winner from Germany. She won arenberg having best result of all girls. But problem with spinning skish and spinning distance, moving Karolína down to 3rd position at pentathlon, missing 0.14 points behind the same girl from Germany like in fly combination.
Karolína left the girl category in 1995 so she participated only one championship of youth.
She gained 4 medals, including one European youth champion title.

90s years - Michal Příhoda
In 1995 also Michal Příhoda participated the European championship in Slovenian Bled. Got the nomination mainly based on his 3rd place of pentathlon at national championship. Next year he was mainly at 6th place but finally he was not chosen by national trainer so the year 1995 was the only year he participated championship of youth.
Not good at fly events, that significally caused worse pentathlon position. Spinning event were not bad but always Michal needed a little bit more for the medal. 4 point more at arenberg, one more hit at skish.
Michal was 10th at spinning distance. So mostly he was 3rd or 4th best Czech caster, for more he was 2nd best Czech caster in pentathlon although he placed 7th position.
So Michal was medal-free at his the only championship of youth.
He was the only Jihlava caster that brought no championship medal.

90th years - Pavel Kobliha
Pavel Kobliha became aware already in 1992 being 2nd in national championship in boys -15yrs category. Next year he placed 3rd position.
At 1994 as junior he was on podium regularly (2nd in national championship). Unfortunately no European championship that year.
But he participated international youth cup of European cities, he was fifth at pentathlon and fourth at heptathlon.
And in 1995 and 1996 was participated European championships.
Not good at fly events on the first championship. Pavel was always behind his Jihlava friend Michal. Even arenberg was not good.
But at spinning skish he was one of only two guys having 100 points and at final he did beat Slovakian rival by 15 points and became European champion in that event.
And in spinning distance he gained bronze medal.
Finally he was 13th at pentathlon. The fourth of Czech boys.
At the second championship the fly events were better, 5th place at skish, 6th place at distance. At arenberg he had to fight against with other 3 boys for bronze medal and he got it.
Unfortunately big loss at spinning skish and pentathlon could be saved. 5th place at spinning distance settled Pavel on "only" 5th place at pentathlon.
So Pavel participated 2 championship, bringing 1 gold and 2 bronze medals.

Klára Musilová was one the most talented girls of Jihlava. That is why she participated 4 international championships of youth.
When she was only 12 years old she was able to win national championships of girls -15years. Did it again two years later. Still as only 15 years girl she participated her first European championship, winning nomination cups and national championship.
One year later she was dangerous even for Czech women, she was so good that se place 2nd position of pentathlon at national championship of men and women.
At first international championship she got her first title casting the most points at fly skish. At fly distance another bronze and at arenberg another silver, casting second best result of girl category. Another bronze at spinning skish. Only spinning distance was the event she got no medal. But for her first time she became European champion at pentathlon. As first girl from Jihlava.
Next two championships were not called European championships but world championships. And at pentathlon Klara won both of them. So she became the first Czech girl having 3 pentathlon titles in a row.

Turn of century - Helena Smejkalová
The year Klára moved to ladies category, Jihlava had another great caster in girl category - Helena Smejkalová. She also showed her skills during girls -15years category, but she had to fight with another great Moravian caster - legendary Zuzana Kočířová. Helena was at 2nd position right after Zuzana many times. But she got to national team right the first year she moved to junior category and she stayed in the team until she moved to category of ladies.
Helena gained her first European title at first championship, she got it at fly skish. She was not lucky at arenberg and fly distance - 4th place. Another title at spinning skish and bronze ad spinning distance.
Finally she was 2nd at pentathlon behind Zuzana, missing 1.46 points.
Next two championships she got bronze medals at pentathlons and another silver and bronze medals.
So Helena Smejkalová participated 3 European championships of youth. She got 11 medals, including 2 golds, 5 silvers and 4 bronze medals.

10s years - Aleš Průša
As the last boy of Jihlava, Aleš Průša got into national team. He had great target results. As one of only a few casters he was able to show his great result at national championships. He was 2nd at pentathlon and one year later he won pentathlon at boys -15 category. To national team he got into as junior caster being fourth best Czech caster and third at national championship. Being in the team until he moved to men category.
At his first world championship of boys and girls he got into finals of best 8 boys always except for arenberg and spinning distance. That year there was new experiment - quarterfinal, semifinal and final round for targets. Unfortunately Aleš always lost with Hildebrand from Germany in quarterfinals. At pentathlon he was 7th.
Next year another decision - no special rounds, only finals and only 6 boys, not 8 as usual. Aleš started with 100 points at fly skish, placed 4th position at final round. 8th place at fly distance and arenberg but could not fight at final as only first 6 boys fought. Not so good at spinning skish and distance so Aleš placed 4th place at pentathlon. Missing only 2.37 points for bronze medal.
The last year he was great. Got to final at fly skish and gained silver medal. At fly skish got another medal, bronze for that time. And Aleš became world champion at arenberg. At spinning skish Aleš was one of only two boys having 100 points but at final round he placed 6th position. But another bronze medal at spinning distance. Finally Aleš got silver medal for pentathlon, missing 2.345 points for winning.
So Aleš Průša participated 3 world championships of youth. He brought 5 medals, including 1 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals.

10s years - Jitka Pausarová
Jitka Pausarová was the last caster being in junior national team.
She was able to get over 400 points when she was 13 years old and she was great in her category. At national championship and at 12 years she was silver at pentathlon in girls -15 category and next 3 years she always won.
Her best event was fly distance, at her 14 years she was able to cast over 50 meters. At national championship of ladies she casted over 53 meters. It was the second best result in ladies category.
She got in junior national team in 2009 for first time and stayed there until 2012 for her last time.
At the first championship she got always to semifinal round but failed and fought for bronze at least.
But she had great distance events. At fly distance she had casts 2 meters longer than other girls and the same she did at final round. First champion title for her.
At spinning distance Jitka and Magdalena Kuza had casts 6 meters longer than other girls and the final round was about fight between those two girls.
Finally Jitka won and got second champion title.
And got silver for pentathlon.
Well, next year looks like a copy of 2009 champ. Jitka gained bronze at fly skish, won both distance events and she was second at pentathlon again. But Jitka gained one bronze medal more. From arenberg.
Next year wat not that successful. Still bronzes for fly skish and arenberg but "only" bronze medal for fly distance and 4th place for spinning distance. But 2nd place at pentathlon for third time.
Jitka participated junior world championship in 2012 for last time. Hosted by Croatia. Results of main rounds of events were amazing, final rounds were not that awesome.
At fly skish she missed only one target like three another girls but at final she missed three times and placed 4th position.
At arenberg she had best result together with one another girl but at final round she placed 4th position again.
At spinning skish all final girls, including Jitka, had only one missed target. At final round Jitka placed 5th position.
At fly distance she was the only girl having a cast over 50 meters. At final round she was only third.
Very nervous she had only 62 meters at spinning distance although other girls had over 70 meters. Very nervous based of information she was leader and could win pentathlon at her last world championship.
Fortunately 62 meters were enough, she won with 13 points more. So Jitka was able to enjoy the last junior final and got over 70 meters too. Gained silver medal for that cast.
So Jitka Pausarová participated 4 world championships of youth. She brought 16 medals, including 5 world champion titles, 4 silver and 7 bronze medals.
