Nations on Youth
champs 1981 - 2021
1 258 individual medal sets distribution among nations in Youth World and European championship history.

First junior international championship was hosted by Germany in 1981.
Casters from Czechoslovakia could not participate, they had to wait until third championship (Hungary, 1985).
Till 1995 it was not usual having championship every year, missing 1982, 1984, 1988, 1989, 1992 and 1994. Since 1995 each ear had its own internation championship. Expcet for covid year 2020...

Three years in a row - 1985, 1986, 1987 - championship had boys I. and boys II. categories.
Next championships there was only one category for boys, just like for girls.
In 1983 girls category was missing.

The least count of boys was in 1997 - 20 boys at championship in Nymburk. The most count of boys was 38, for last time in 2003 (Poland).
The least count of girls was in 1981 - 5 girls at championship (Germany). The most count of girls was 20 in 2007 (Austria).

222 sets of medals were divided into boys. In 2002 there were 2 boys having the same result at spinning distance. Because of that there were given 2 golds and 1 bronze medal.
198 sets of medals were divided into girls. At first championship there were only two girls so no bronze medals were given.

During the years there were some joining of states and dividing of states. Results were processed from the newest to oldest so casters casting for Czechia or Slovakia after 1992 are counted into their current states although they were casting for Czechoslovakia in 1992 and before. Casters casting just at time of Czechoslovakia have their results under Czechoslovakia state.

In similar way there are result of West and East Germany of Croatia, Slovenia and Yugoslavia.
