Czech team participated its first championship in 1985. Only 6 members went, as team competitions consisted of 4 boys and 2 girls. Two boys were in Boys I category and two boys were in Boys II category. Two girls were in their separate category. This championship was very successful.
One year later in 1986 10 members participated. 3 boys in Bosch I., 4 boys in Bosch II. and 3 girls in their category. At pentathlon girls were 1st, 2nd and 3rd. At Boys I category our boys were 1st, 2nd and 4th. At Boys II category our boys were 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
In 1987 team consisted of only 6 members again. In 1990 and 1991 there were 9 members. Yet in 1993 and 1995 the team was not full, in 1993 only 5 boys and 2 girls participated. And in 1995 6 boys and 2 girls participated.
Since 1996 the team always constisted of 9 members - 6 boys and 3 girls.

National junior team brought the smallest amount of medals in 2008 (Germany) and 2019 (Switzerland). It was 8 medals. Less than 10 medals team gained in 1997 (Nymburk) and 2004 (Croatia).
Team gained the biggest amount of medals in 1986 (Nymburk) - 40 medals. One year ago the team brought 28 medals (Hungary). If we would not count championships with 3 separate categories, then the biggest amount of medals were in 2001 (Slovenia) and 2021 (Poland).
Average amount is 17.34 per one championship.
